New ECU Decisions

I am looking for advice on a new ECU, I have an '01 S4. I will either get the Power Commander or the Ultimap59 ECU. The Power Commander is about £250, where the Ultimap is £450.

I know the Ultimap is changeble between bikes and easy to program. Has anyone got any experience with either of these?

Any advice is welcome.

I use the PC3 USB on my S2r and am very impressed. For the same price as the Ultimap you will be able to get the PC3 fitted and dyno tested with change to spare. It may not be transferable between different bikes but when you come to sell the bike you will get maybe 150 back on the PC.
If you go for the PC3 then I would recommend getting the dyno run done.

Might as well get the Power Commander, I doubt you'd tell the difference in prformance and they're both fully programable for fueling, not sure if the FIM chip can be configured to increase the rev limiter, probably can, but that's about the only benefit other than overriding any immobilisers etc!
