Theres a pretty tasty m600 on Ebay at the moment if any1 is interested. Not mine....

How can a 5 year old bike only have 3000 miles!? Do people not actually ride them! I've done 5 thousand in 9 month and only really use it on weekends.

Mmmmm nice looking bike - I just bought a 2003 M750 with 4000 miles and thought that was low mileage - maybe they buy em just to drool over and polish at the weekend !

Looks like a real minter

When I bought my M plate 600 in 1999 it had only done 1800 miles in 4 years. Very low mileages on used Duke's is not that unusual on high maintainance sports bikes like 748, 916, 998's etc... but your average monster owner tends to rack up more miles TBH.

I bought my 01 plated S4 3 years ago, it had 300 miles on the clock and had had its first service at 200 miles!!! I think some people buy bikes for decoration

Rog bought his 02 plate S4 from Flip with 500 miles on it. Flip had bought it off a guy who had made loads of money on the internet somehow, and had just walked in to CMWs and said "I'll have that one" Turns out he rode it a couple of times, and it scared so much he just kept it in his garage for a couple of years.

Flip did 100 miles or so on it, and decided he prefered his M900. So we ended up with a 3 year old bike with 500 miles on it!

The bargains are out there. Just need to get lucky!

But is low milage necessary good for an engine? My monster, which is for sale, has done 14k in 3 years and the engine is very sweet. Sticking to the service intervals is the most important thing.
