Well its only took me nearly 2 years but have booked my 1st Trackday (About time) 9th of August at Oulton. Reading the advice given to someone else on another Forum im in the Novice group, id rather learn the track and see what skills I have or havent got without feeling intimidated. Im really looking forward to it.

I did my first one in June with the guys form UKMOC and loved it. You will too. Once you have done it, come back on here and sign up for next years Monster only track day. There's still a couple of places left.

Oulton is my favourite UK circuit, you'll really enjoy it. Novice group is a good choice. Let us know how you get on!!!

I'm off to Silverstone at the weekend to watch my brother in law race Classic Jaguars on Sunday, he's going to try to get me a lap or two through the BRDC.....on the 748.


Can't wait, though as it's my first time and I'll be the only one on the track i'm really jittered up ...lol

I did my first one 3 weeks ago at Silverstone and it was just fantastic. I was definitely more at ease because I happened to bump into NattyBoy, Slob and mates (who all made me look slow but that didn't matter)

I got cramp in my ears from grinning so much! :D

Congratulations. If you want some tuition from one of the instructors, go and ask in the morning, that way you can practice what you've been shown for the rest of the day and if you're lucky get a follow-up session later. Just relax and ride within your own limits, I hope you have a great time.
