After having read forum posts about bike insurance, I tried the main ones, ebikeinsurance, Ducati, Carole Nash and also Motorcycle Direct (which whom I was about to renew). Most quoted from the same company Equity Red Star but with very different results.
I will be going with Ducati Insurance (£132 Fully Comp!!) but while I was ringing around, I found that ebikeinsurance had sent me an email. It's a very clever bit of marketing which also could be pretty useful.
I'm not sure that the Ducati (Red Star) has legal cover but, as a thank you for requesting a quote, ebikeinsurance sent me free legal cover for a year for up to £50k. Carole Nash were pretty good at reducing the excess too, but you still can't beat £132 fully comp.
