Took my other half out on the monnie today, just around 170miles, still quite a few miles for 2's up on this type of bike, I would of thought she would of been in agony but she seems ok :) (Not been a passenger with me for quite some time)

Don’t know about how Emma (the other half) will feel tomorrow, stiff as a board prolly.

sussies handled it quite well too, after 3 or so extra clicks here and there.

Only downer is this is gona cost me big time, today Emma wore an old lid of mine, and some of my textile gear, not exactly flattering about a million sizes too big, might goto a show next Sunday and try and kit her out there, think there is one in Yorkshire somewhere. (I'm skint /cry)

Anyway anyone know of any easy to put on / off, grab rail type mod, at first Emma used the hoops in the frame near the winkas to grab hold off, but there a tad low for her so uncomfortable. Could do with something that mounts to the frame at the side, to generate similar hoops just above the seat height. She spent the latter half of the ride feeling more comfortable grabbing onto me, for the old slip forward, edge back, slip forward, edge back type ride lol.

Next I will be looking at a new seat.:spin: Anyway glad she enjoyed it, was canny having her along, just hope she doesn’t want to come all the time, its nice to still ride solo like a tw*t within your own means without having to worry about your lady flying off the back, I was a gentleman with the pwr handle and smooth gear changing today.

Anyway any tips n tricks for the occasional 2up monnie riding, getem posted here.

Any mods need to be easy on/off, e.g. I aint gona screw up my baby’s looks with a rack permanently attached to the back.

I can live with having the rear pegs back on :)

Btw I think she enjoyed the ride more than any other bike I have had due to the fact I have had quite a few crotch rockets, passengers might as well be sitting on your shoulders.

The S4rs is no tourer but, but worked dam well 2’s up considering.

p.s. if anyone has any lady gear, thats anoying the hell out of them taking up closet space, giz a shout plz :)

Get a pair of 'love handles' they are a belt that goes around the riders waist with a pair of grippy handles attached for the pillion. They work very well and give the pillion a lot of confidence and security. My wife & daughter think they are really good.

Thanks for the reply.

Thought about those, would be good for security feeling, not sure if they will do much for putting weight on them when Im braking etc to stop seat position movement?

Ducati Performance Comfort Seat - best mod I ever did... you will be more comfortable, and the pillion will feel more secure as they 'sink' into the seat more. Just put on in place of the stock item, ands your existing seat cowl should fit it too.
