Sort of Monster related. I am looking for 4 square section U bolts, galvanized or zinc plated to secure a metal trunk on to the front of my bike trailer. They need to be 50mm+ wide (inside measurement) and 120mm long. M8 or thereabouts will be ok as the trunk in very light. No joy on the internet, anyone know of a supplier of such things?

You might get them from a trailer outlet. If you don't have any joy with that, I made a similar thing using 8 pieces of 20mmX5mm Stainless plate (with the relevant sized holes drilled in them) and lengths of M8 Stainless threaded bar, with nuts, to make clamps, they work great and if you want to be posh, use Stainless Nylock nuts.

I get quite a few fixings for work from a local company called South West Fasteners. They sell all sorts of fixings such as threaded bar and fancy nuts and bolts, roofing fixings, fencing bits and bobs etc.. Obviously they are too far for you to travel but try to find a similar company local to you. Probably on Yell.com under fixings or similar.
