Does anybody have a Road Race under engine exhaust system on their Mons ? How much £££ ? How loud ? does it reduce engine power ?
I really want one just because they look cool ! But it still needs to be practical , many thanks .
From what I've gathered they're not very common, rather pricy, loud as **** and reduces engine power a bit (since they're more or less straight pipes, not supplying enough compression).
I also understand that they're easily ground down around the edges when cornering low. But they do look sweet.
As an alternative you might want a custom system from Zorstec(?), like JMo has. Very nice indeed.

Tis true I had the link pipes polished up. They were sold a wjile back, before I bought my R1, sorry. In my opinion they were too loud, increased engine idle speed and I still caught them on the road when cranked right over.
