lo all, really good day today, my old man gave me a call
this morning and told me there was a bike show on asked
if I would like to go, just down the road North Shields Quay...

My pops rides an HD fatboy he is a proud member of the
local hog geordie chapter, so rode down with them, FOOOK ME
being in the middle of 30+ harleys tis a bit loud!!

Was a Charity fundraising event, for the RNLI, was a good day
loads of very very nice bikes, live band, stalls, stuff for the
kiddys etc RNLI doing demo's including there chopper fook me
there impressive.....

Anyway reason for this post, just about to leave and this guy
comes over and attaches a winning ribbon to my bike:eyepopping:
Best European one of 15 awards, best streetfighter, chop, lowrider,
custom, paintwork, engineering etc..

So instead of leaving had to move my bike down through the
crowds to a stage area the old winning circle /grin, for photos
let the crowd soak up the beauty that is the duc monster, an
hour or so later called onto the stage for presentation and
press shots hehe... pm for autographs lol

Didnt have my camera at the show unfortantly, which is a crying
shame loads of seriously tasty bikes was really good turn out
must of made some serious loot for the RNLI

Wonder if it will be in the local rag, gave one of the press folk
taking the presentation piccys my email addy, so may get some
pics from him of my ugly mug :), just crawled out of bed, thrown
clothes on, hair like don king! always a good look heh

Back at my pops, weather turned bad, a couple of crap shots
of ma bike gloating, :)

Well Chuffed I only went down for somit to do,

Ah just missed out on a P*** take! I saw her with the bonny ribbon on and new it was yours, but could not spot anyone who I thought looked like he would ride about with ribbons on!
Ah well done though at least one of us got a Monster there. Had to take the Old girl and the 2 Kids otherwise you may have had my skip as competition.:ukm:

Or a subtile dig that European bikes need more maintainance?!

G-day m8... ended up round my old mans for a barby after the surf comp, stone the crows can see the pub from here!

not my tipple :)

JMO quote from someone there "you should save that piston for a meltdown" heh

left my bike at my dads after the show, raining... picked it up yesterday only live 5mins away and get pulled on the way home "visor", "plate" the copper was at the show too, a bit of banter lets me off with a warning, not sure what to do now since he's local.

he complained most about not being able to see my plate due to angle, and seeing nothing but glare off l.pate light on plate. He left it with the old leave the small plates for the shows....

Thanks but prolly not stictly true, in the deserve stakes, not modded heavily yet... picture folk been polishing there ride up for days on end for show, in roles rob on a slightly modded box fresh bike and wins one of the categorys.. think a few of em must of been foaming.

I'll take it all the same :) turning up for a show, winning a prize on a competetion i didnt think i had entered was a tad bizare....

not sure what im going to do about getting pulled yesterday, might get a slightly larger plate with no gb sh*te on the side, never been pulled for 7x5before, dam typical being a local copper too, bound to bump into the copper again even if he does like his bikes and new what mine was.

P.S. chop isnt too hard m8 go for it, just go slow, measure everthing, measure again, then measure again, then saw job done :)
