Again not monster but same running gear:o I've got an SS750 94 plate and she's got some lovely Viper cans on but if running abit rich. Waiting for a manual to arrive before i go and mess with that. Just wondering if its worth having it dynoed if shes not already been done with her having the cans on. She does struggle top end wise but im sure this is mixture retated. Not happy after 150 KPH. Any of you guy's had your monsters done? If so what kit? and did u do it yourself or advise having her put on the rolling road?

Cheers Luke

Used a stage 2 Dyno Jet kit on my 900 Monster, with open Leo Vince cans, DP Filter and open airbox.....

It is so worthwhile!!!!!!!!!!

If it's running rich with just cans, an open airbox mod may put it right?

Fitting the stage 2 dynojet kit isn't hard as long as you know one end of a screwdriver from the other, get it dyno'd after to set it up properly.

So would you advise a stage 2 kit with power filter over a stage one?

Cheers Luke

The dynojet kit made a huge difference on Emily's 600. That combined with Leo Vince cans, a K&N and an open filter cover - totally transformed the motor. Thoroughly recommended!

The bottom of the carbs are a bit of a sod to get off - make sure you use exactly the right screwdriver or you'll round the screws off. Even then, you might want to soak them in penetrating spray for a day or two first.

Once they're apart it's pretty straightforward.

cheers,

Nik

I had my 600 done - dynojet stage 2, DP filter and open cover, high level carbon SILs and boy did I notice the difference :eyepopping:

Thoroughly recommend

Cheers guys, to save my embarrasment. What do you mean by 'open cover'. Also did you fit the kits yourself or have it done by a pro and set up right?

Open cover = the lid on the air box under the tank is basically cut out and 'open', you get a bit more noise/grunt from under the tank.

I ordered mine through Dave Woods Racing, Aylesbury and he fitted there and then :yoparty:
