Can anyone recommend a good company who does plastic welding repairs?

I have a box full of nc30 panels which will be going on my new track bike very shortly but at the moment they're full of holes and cracks and just need a general tidying up.

There used to be a guy who did it in his back yard/workshop and he lived around the Harrow, Middlesex area, can't for the life of me remember his name tho and the business card is long gone!

Any ideas or recommendations, I live in Rickmansworth, West London, M25 Junc 17 area

Ta muchly :)

p.s. before any smart arse asks why I'm not posting this on the 400greybike forum, I already have! ;)

No its not Bill at Roebotech, although he has done quite a lot of work on my 888 and I do highly recommend him for servicing and stuff.

Cheers Gary, will take a look, thanks

The guy I was thinking of used to do plastic welding in the back yard of his house, I went there a few years ago when a friend of mine who needed some bits doing, I can still picture the house in my head but just can't remember his name, I vaguely remember him advertising in MCN but there's so many in there these days!

I have repaired a few panels on Jap bikes with this stuff

http://www.mandp.co.uk/productInfo.aspx?catRef=501813

Its called Plastech formula and is a bottle of solvent with an applicator, some plasticene and plastic filler powder. For such a Heath Robinson idea it really is effective.

And talking of the great Mr Heath Robinson http://members.chello.at/theodor.lauppert/brnstwm/potatoes.htm

Thanks Duncan :)

A few people on the 400 forum have suggested doing it myself, thing is there are some pretty big cracks and holes in the bellypan panels, combination of crashing and kicking the bike! lol

I might have a go at repairing the cracks with this stuff at least that will save a bit of money but the bigger holes will need doing properly
