Its been a month now, kylie has waited patiently outside my backdoor under her cover and heard me come and go. Today was her day!

I'd only got as far as the end of the road when I remembered how much I love my monster, she growled and snarled at everyone as we flew down the street, launched off the lights and put a huge grin on my face even though I had a 20 mile stretch of the dull A14 to do to see a friend in need.
Next up a twisty road to get to the cafe to meet Nonnie, somehow i was throwing it around more than normal, the tarmac was warm and I was just loving it!
Went shopping in town and thought, stuff it, I'll take Kylie and park up in the centre. Came back an hour later and the guy sat next to the bunch of bikes says "nice bike mate" and a smug smile builds up inside. I'm so proud of Kylie, she's a tart and loves the attention :D
Came out of town past the famous Norman Foster designed Willis building made of black glass, couldn't resist a look at the reflection :chuckle: and now I'm home with a huge smile and a happy bike.
Isn't it just great having a monster! :D :D

Hurrah for that lovely tart - and Kylie too!!!:mand: :mand: :mand:

Glad you had a good day PD - you must be enjoying the daylight hours I hope!!!

Yes it is good having a monster - they are lovely and wonderful and I love frank to bits (fgood job as he's spent a lot of time in bits.....)

Went to the Ace this evening and met up with some of the usual faces as well as a few newbies grand to be outside in the SUN and WARM - thank goodness it's no longer duck weather - and we can get out in the light evenings.

Ride safe and happy Dave - Kylie is a great beastie.

Frank sends a big snog (actually a big backfire - hell those are loud!!!!!)

yes i had a few backfires when i started up yesterday, and i was backed up to the wall of the house too :D
Went to shop on her this morning and a bunch of workmen stopped and stared and watched me go past. There was also a bloke crossing a zebra crossing taking a good gawp too. I just gave it the mean stare with my black visor :D
Will be fitting her new bits later, i'll get a photo when i'm done and mail you, feel free to show frank but best you leave him under his cover in private with an oily rag if you know what I mean ;)

PD, I also had a 'Benson' day yesterday:cool:

out at 10, back at 4 with a short interlude of lunch with a couple of good mates in between (ok, and a petrol stop or 2)

lovely country roads, not too many cars, beats working I can tell you:D
Her majesty was soo excited to go out on a weekday for a change and responded brilliantly, just such a shame I couldnt have got out earlier in the morning, as I much prefer the 6am slot at the weekend with no coppers and not many other cars on the roads;)

Benson moments - I like it...

Hope we all have a good helping over the weekend - I went to the Ace last night and that was a whole evening of moments - from the lunatics on one wheel and standing on their seats to the people I just met and chatted with liuke we'd known each other for years - it was a good nice and the atmosphere was top - just bikes and everyone enjoying them..;)

While it simply breaks my heart to hear that Kylie has been camping outside your back door, neglected for a month (PD you know how much I love that girl!)…I’m quickly beginning to find out for myself how bloody brilliant it is to finally own and ride a Ducati Monster.

I’ve been having those ‘Benson Moments’ all day…from the dyno man literally wetting his pants this morning, the admiring crowd (OK…6) round my bike outside Costa at lunchtime, to the guys pulling up beside me at the traffic lights telling me how much they loved my bike. It’s been hard work, but the feeling I had today was priceless, and you know what…I think there’s going to be plenty more days like that to come :mand:

Just going on the track day was brilliant. Not the same as yours but the buzz from all the other monsters and why we have them. I was sitting in the ducati tent and said to Bob and Scrapps why do we own these bikes as I sat looking at the demos. It beause we love all that they are and how they make us feel inside.

Oh and when Walker the Stalker tells me my bike looks great in front of my mates then thats good enough for me.

Happy biking all. :mand: :mand:
