oil light

Help is what I need ....... Took me 750 out for a good run today after the dealer put 2 new disks on the front (warped and under warrenty)

Anyhow left work tonight and the oil light did not go off as normal when I started the bike up. Obvious check was the sight glass - plenty (if anything slightly above the upper mark) and now I'm stumped as to where to look next....

Pressure switch must be a contender, but how do I check it? Problem is I can't ride me bike until I have it sorted and the sun is a shinin.


Any advice, experience ???

Probably just the sender, but having said that my neutral light started glowing tonight so I suspect water's got in somewhere or I've got a short :hissy:

Thanks for the prompt help. Quick trip to the local Vauxhall dealer and bobs yer mothers brother a new £4 quid oil switch is fitted and the red light is no more. Certaily made me feel better about riding it the couple of miles home with the red light on !!
