just before i left for Le Mans. I said to my spanner handy mate that i thought 'it's fecked' so off i went to the ever helpful people at Ducati Coventry who got me one in record time. So 2 days before we go to service my 'turd lucidato' (go look that up) we discover that the bolt on the timing belt tensioner has a rounded off head. That sorted we pop the clutch out. My mate said 'it doesnt look that worn for the low milage' (or words to that effect) But as i had the parts, and i knew it didnt feel right, we swapped it out. On my mates examination of the plates, he found this.... Oh Dear (http://www.houguez.net/images/Oh%20Dear.jpg)!

'Good call' he says

So anyone else ever had this?

seen it a few times Plum.

worst was on Blufoots 620 back in 2003, which had 3 of them like that

most recently, had a couple on the 583 like that when we first got it.

That looks nasty! I just hope I'd be able to tell if mine ever did that!

Well it feels like the clutch is just on its way out (or did with mine). Ive never seen it before. Needless to say i am gonna keep it and mount it and give it to my mechanic mate as a thanks for all his work on my bike!
