Just got the invite. This year's Kupferpaste (German for Copperslip) will be 11th - 13th August at Collenberg-Reistenhausen which is about 70km southeast of Frankfurt midway between the towns of Miltenberg and Wertheim on the banks of the river Main. This is a brilliant event organised around a collossal tithe barn right on the river. Camping is alongside. The event is free to all Italian owners, any mates on other stuff pay 10 euros.
It's a day's run from the Channel Ports. Best trick is to go over the night before and stay somewhere like the Motorcycle loft Hotel in Belgium, then you can start for the rally about 9am on the Friday which makes it a reasonable day's run. You need to get onto the A3 autobahn (Frankfurt - Wurzburg) and get off at the Rohrbrunn exit. Whilst on the Autobahn you see how fast your monster really is. :fiery:
Best Ferry company at present seems to be Norfolk Line who are a commercial vehicle carrier so not too many screaming kids.
