1- Freeview box soon to be put in the bin.

2 -Sky dish from previous owner also heading that way(never did like it on outside of house)

3-Must spend more time at mate's or pub.....with sky showing:biggrin:

Is it just me or in 10 years time will we all be forced to subscribe to sky though dish or internet to watch owt good?

A ha!!!

Right, I get it now. I thought it was a bit odd. I wondered where it had gone. I liked all the police camera action shows because I'm a sad freak. Chopper coppa! Bastards, I can't believe they have removed it. I thought it was my reception up the spout out here in the marshes, bastards!

no its not just you. Analogue tv, or terestrial as it is sometimes known will be switched off by 2010. By then everything must go digital.

Freeview will still work after 2010 as it is Digital Terrestrial... Only the Analogue signals will be switched off.

FYI, More4+1 has ceased to be (freeview channel 31 I think), but as from today this is replaced with Film4 (free movie channel).:)

Hey Darry, is that right that Film 4 will be on Freeview:bunny: ? I thought you had to pay a subscription for that.

It always annoyed me when they were advertising a decent film that you fancied on Channel 4, but then at the very end it told you it was showing on Film 4:mad:

Worse than that is the fact you'll still have to pay through the nose for a TV license too!!

Yes its true, I guess like E4 before it (which is now free) that the service is paying for itself through advertising revenue and therefore does not need subscription... that's what pee's me off about sky, they expect you to pay a subscription then have adverts too!!!

Look here http://www.channel4.com/film/ffchannel/features/C/changes_at_filmfour.html

UPDATE: Starts July on Channel 31 Freeview

Funnily enough M&M just turned up on the blueyonder basic package just in time for the TT. Stoked, although the TT film was just the outtakes from the TT documnetary that was on before it. Still good though.
