I remember Grape Ape totally - it was ****e! Bailey's comets was a ridiculous series about a round the world skating race - also total ****e! Great things we (I) used to watch as a kid... VERY 70s - really trashy... Now **** dastardly and Mutley - that was a different class altogether!!!!!

Hong Kong Phooey, number one super guy.
Hong Kong Phooey, quicker than the human eye.
He's got style, a groovy style,
and a car that just won't stop.
When the going gets tough, he's really rough,
with a Hong Kong Phooey chop (Hi-Ya!)

Was the voice for Hong Kong Phooey.
He was also the janitor (spooky coincidence huh) who spotted the fact that Jack Nicholson's son in The Shining had 'The Shining'.
I used to use HKP as my avatar a couple of years ago on here funnily enough.

Armed with only a purple hat and a white overcoat concealing a variety of strange secret weapons, SS rounded up the most fiendish villains in the world (including Yellow Pinky - named after Goldfinger from the Bond films). But while James Bond escaped from capture by using a laser embedded in his watch, SS used a far more hi-tech approach, a pair of scissors he had hidden under his hat.

We saw Bensons school of motoring in Great Yarmouth last week.
It's a conspiracy I reckon, to take over the world by driving mostly.

By the way - I'm on TV later - 7PM BBC1...
"You're on a TV quest for the Holy Grail, so who do you send? Paxman? Palin? No, perky, wide-eyed Richard Hammond (me me me me me me!!!) from Top Gear, of course. He (no - SHE I'll have you know!!!) sets off around Europe for this engaging if lightweight look at the Grail myths. I'm sorry to tell you that Hammond does not, in fact, find the Grail. The last shot of the film is not him (how many times - HER!!!!!) pulling a bejewelled goblet from a secret crypt and raising it to the heavens. No, as you'd expect, every trail he follows comes to a dead end. But he (she for feck's sake) certainly uncovers some intriguing medieval stories along the way, including the sad tale of the Cathar heretics of southern France and their bloody end.

Phone died sadly.
As for the Holy Grail stuff, I wonder if he (Oooops sorry, SHE) is a member of Opus Dei? Or in your case Rach, Opusly Lost!!! Yes, that's replaced Invasion, the bastards. I need to move to America where they might have series 2 showing. I was soooo bored last night without it. Big Brother? I don't think so. Sooo doesn't cut the mustard over here in the heartlands/wetlands/fenlands.
And anyway, the Cathar Heretics? Are they like the Knights Templar? They were cool, sort of.

Knights Templars? Funny you should mention them, my old man is head honcho of said group, he has a sword and one of them white tunics with a big red cross and everything. He does look a bit like one of those chav flags that are currently flying from cars when he's in his regalia though.

Chavs Templar. My neighbour is currently flying his periodic patriot from a pole in his back garden ffs. I mean, I can view it from my study. This is not what I had in mind as I sit here with my gooseberry and fresh coriander chutney, is it? IS IT???

I mean - I wonder what other secrets you have?
That avatar for instance - it's you really isn't it???:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
Meanwhile chav flags are everywhere - my neighbours and I reckon that we ought to sew two sheets together and get a red can of spray paint to spray on the cross then wrap our houses in our very own chav flag - beat that huh huh!!!!:nash: :nash: :nash:
Meanwhile watch that coriander and stuff Nonnie - is it legal in Norfolk???:booze:
