This is what the 'smart' car (contradiction or what?) looked like after hittin my bike tyre and after the bumper was put back on!! :D I thank the bike gods above us (or below) that it was the most pathetic excuse for a car there is that hit me!:hail:

NO, I have one and its a great little town car, £75 for a years tax, leaves me room to get past it in the front garden to get the bike in & out of the garage and its also v cheap to insure & run too.

you get as many prats in cars, as you do on bikes (particularly in the summer when the FWB's are out)

I might be getting a skoda if I want one. Octavia Estate 1.9 turbo diesal 150bhp and underneath its a vw passat. Or I could have another Zafira 100bhp or astra estate 1.3 td80 bhp.. Hmm what would you have then

Bob - I can get 6 bike tyres, a monster fuel tank and some more spares in my car - including me & a passenger. Or, put it another way - about £100 woth of supermarket shopping in, and still see out the rear window and passenger not needing to have stuff round their feet:D

Bigredduke - that wasnt a personal pop mate about fwb's, but when the sun comes out around here in Surrey we do get many out on bikes who cause probs on the roads as although they all seem to go v fast in straight lines, they cant corner for toffee - and if any rain starts, they are a bloody nightmare to avoid:freak:

Sorry to be pedantic but it's a MK4 Golf not Passat underneath the MK1 and the MK5 Golf underneath the MK2, great cars though, I have a 2.0TDI (140bhp) Elegance Estate :D

To get 150bhp out of a 1.9 it must have visited Jabba or Revo I'd guess :woot:
