Actually I think the phrase is "beauty is in the eye of the beer holder".... usually after at least three or four in this case!

Its a good project though. Got the cans and screen and belly pan. Just polish off the painted bits like Footrests and open the clutch up to the air. Chop the tea tray EEEEkkk cant believe I said that.

Yuk, that's a bit OTT. The cans - look like akro's - don't suit it either.

They are made by Termignoni and sold by different name. Its all a con and you can buy the stickers for a tenner. I would buy it if less than 1500. If I didnt have s4

I wouldnt go to any more than £1500 tops

1. the colour is total pants - unless you like yellow a lot (which i don't)

2. It's not a 900ie as advertised - it's actually a late carbed bike. If you study photo's giveaway is plastic breather pods & fuel pump visable on side of frame.

3. the owner talking out of his arse if he thinks he's got 115bhp from adding a set of cans and a dynojet kit (the other clue its a carbed bike) something around high 70's at the rear wheel would be nearer the mark.

10/10 for b u l l s h i t methinks

What is it with people and customising bikes. As a designer myself I know that all designers struggle to make things as perfect as they can. I very rearly see a customised bike that looks better than the factory original, especially Dukes. On the whole they are only improved by stripping things off. The things that legislation demand that are included, (Catalytic converters, huge mud guards, huge number plates etc.). As soon as people start adding nasty tat to their bikes they only look worse. I know they become individual and when this bloke says 'real head turner' it is because people can't quite beleive what a gastly sight it looks. The Monster is all about simplicity of purpose and the beauty of seeing the engineering.

Just had another quick gander at the photos and noticed it has the early pattern forks, caliper and discs. So it's definately an earlier carbed version not an ie spec bike. Might even be a crasher thats been repaired with bits from an earlier bike?

Either way I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole
