It is still gonna look ugly no matter how much you try to disguise it !

That'll be mine then! Covers the cat well, but I'd recommend some heat insulation inside it as the pain did get a bit "hot". I've took the cat off now and the heat isn't a problem anymore!

Yep I totally agree. It's a dog ugly bit of kit and the sooner I get rid of mine the happier I will be. No end of covers will hide what is a hideous lump from any angle. Besides which if it's anything like the one on my last 999, it weighs a bloody ton, so yet another reason to ditch it and get a system that lets the bike breathe properly as it should. Conservative estimates show a minimum of a 10bhp power hike, when it's dispensed with, providing the air filter and ECU are addressed at the same time. Still no joy with my beloved ZARD exhausts, so I either have to ride with the standard cans on, post first service or ditch them and sell my soul to buy the ridiculously overpriced Termi system. I fear it will be the latter as the bike sounds like a hairdryer at present. Muted waffle at best. Goes like stink (even though I am still running it in) but just sounds really naff.

Sidrat, got mine from http://www.gsg-mototechnik.de/ look under "motor spoiler" they dont take credit cards so I did a money transfer at the bank, cost 290euros inc shipping, it came about a week later. I think stu at spareshack may be able to get hold of them now also, worth a call! Comes in white so all you would need are the stripes! I may have some pics of mine in white with red stripes taped on if you want! And Ill be at the weekender if you want to see the S4R v S4RS fitting differences.
