Right then - 8 of us at the Ace last night - bit of a record PERHAPS but still - London - where are you??? :look:
And to think - Slob gave me all those lovely stick pins and patches and stickers and no one was there to claim them!!! :D
The next run will be the chip run :D :Dto Sarfend a week tomorrow - meeting at Bibby's cafe which is at the junction of the M25/A12 behind the petrol station.
I will aim to be there at 11.30 for anyone who wants to ride in from that part of the world and we'll head off about 11.45/12.00 to Sarfend (there is no picturesque route...)
Bailey's fish and chip shop is the designated meeting plaice (:D ) at 1PM. Their chips are truly fab and have won competitions - we will enjoy.:thumbsup::hail: :thumbsup:
OK then - off to polish the bike AGAIN - as every time I leave the house this week this little cloud appears...
Happy egg munching over the next few days and hope to see some of you next eekend...
...and for anyone who wants a slightly earlier start, how about meeting at the Epping tea hut at 10:30 and trying to find a scenic hoon to Bibby's?

Getting to the M25/A12 sounds like even more BORING roads, so we'll probably emerge from the Dartford Drain and turn right... there being no picturesque route to Saufend, we'll just go the direct route.
Are we riding out afterwards ?

Boring ondeed but easy for folks to meet up and ride in together - as for the ride out afterwards I havwe to be back here to head off to SOuthampton about 5 so not too much of a ride out for me I reckon but no doubt there will be some others who fancy a bimble/blat!!!

What time do you think you'll get to Southend? I'm thinking of leaving Norwich about 1130am and I reckon we'll be there about an hour and a half later perhaps? Depends if I need a coffee en route!

Hello you - I reckon about 1? I'm not in any mad rush either - and mucho coffee is always a good thing... I'm happy to be home about 4 again to give me time to get my stuff together for the ride to Southampton and the motorcycle museum - you're more than welcome to come too!!!!!

nonnie, it takes me an hour to get to southend when i don't get lost, longer every other time :D so add that to your trip and i think you'll struggle to get from KG to Sarfend in an hour and a half

Well, I guess our leaving time should maybe be sooner. The S4Rs has no mileage so needs to be taken care of in a running in type way.
Perhaps we'll leave at 11 instead?
