what tickover?

my duke ticks over at between 1200 and 1500 rpm is this ok?its also getting a little bit rattly am am being to hypo about this?

Same as mine,its sounds like it ought to be lower but its just been checked by the dealer when he checked my fuel mixture yesterday so it must be right.
