This has been confirmed as a current scam:
If you receive a card through your door from a company call PDS (Parcel

instructions and can you contact them on 0906 6611911

DO NOT call the number as this is a mail scam originating from Belize

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will
already have been billed £15 for the phone call.

If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact
Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655
or ICTIS at http://www.icstis.org.uk
or your local trading standards office.

This is a genuine scam.

ICTIS have the following information about this number.
This is a card posted through your letter box from PDS Parcel Delivery
suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and to call the premium

rate number in question. This service costs £1.50 per minute.
This service is under investigation by ICSTIS.
Please be aware of this scam and forward this information to as many as possible.

Should you receive a card from this company please follow the above instructions.

Trust no one. Most people are money grabbing bar stewards. Trust no one.

Not at all B. Just had to check it out because of the amount of urban myths that spring up. Not heard of the PDS scam before, so checked it out.
One hears of so many scams going on these days, so it's good to go into it a bit more.
I get so many emails from people warning about some 'new' virus or scam, and after checking, most of them are urban myths.
There are still far too many gullible types on the net these days, who don't 'Googlize'.

Remember people, Google is your friend.

No problem, as long as you send me all your bank details as my brother will soon unlock his million dolar inheritance from an african state and he will double your money when he does, all he needs is your bank details.

Get e-mails on this type of scam now and again.

Not heard of the parcel one before though.

The worst thing is some people fall for it.

Something about greed makes people fickle.............

I'd rather be skint and happy (as long as I have my duke)

Yep,

I've heard of this one, they are also telephoning people and asking them to call back on the same number, as they have a parcel to deliver. My wife hung up on just such a call a week ago.......scum sucking sh1t eaters!!!
