Bloody seat release broke earlier!

Now its sodding well worse, i was riding along at a steady 80 when low and behold my friggin' chain snapped (Only on one side) throwing it off the rear sprocket taking a couple of teeth with it and rubbing itself up and down my nice black swingarm.

Luckly i was slowing down just before surfing a roundabout, that would have been interesting!!

Needed a sprocket and chain set and a powdercoated swingarm!

I bet you're not sulking as much as I am, at least it wasn't your fault!

21 days to the weekender and the insurance assessor hasn't even been yet!!

It was the 1.5 mile push home that killed me, just glad it wasn't a heavy bike!!

Sounds like nightmares all round. My mate Alexi's front brakes failed resulting in a Monster/Alexi/Wall interface that left him with a rather painful left leg. Counting my blessings I managed to get mine started only to snap off the valve on my front wheel during a Basil Faulty moment at the local Morriscums. Just managed to give my knuckles that Sunday morning look after faling off the socket whilst trying to remove the front wheel. I think I'm just going to cover the thing over and pretend its not there. Maybe it'll go away.

You think thats bad, just been into the garage to look at the S4rs and a can fell off the shelf and dented the tank, the tank was full of petrol which spilled and took the paint off the frame, then burst into flames.....then then...i woke up in a cold sweat!

Almost sorted out! Many thanks to John Warrington in Malton (01653 698258), a very busy man, but what a top guy!

Ordered the sprocket set, bought a heavy duty paddock stand and patch painted the swingarm.

All prepped and waiting!
