Just getting ready for the weekender. Sorting out how to fit tent/sleeping bags/etc and not overdo it. I may have to take termis off:thumbsdown:  and put standards on just in case they get too hot. They dont seem to get that hot as are titanium. But !!!!!! you know what may happen.Have since got a tank bag a well. Thank you Miles and Susan. Looking forward to this and more after. :D :D

One thing you can do is get smaller sleeping bags. ;)
Mine is a Rab Quantum 400 endurance which is a 4 season down bag that is roasting hot when camping out at winter on the moors (ps, I don't have a tent, I sleep in a hammock between two trees with a tarp over the top) yet packs down to the size of a cotton wool roll, but shorter. Cost £229 in the sales though... Self inflating (with a few puffs thrown in) kip mats like the thermarest prolite range are well worth finding packing space for. Can make the difference between sleeping or not...
