Takers for the Southend Chip Run if you please.

A meeting with the fine folk of Suffolk/London/Essex and anywhere else, down to the chippy with the chavs.

Which dates are better for YOU?

Of course Will! So, that's London, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk AND Cambridgeshire!

I think it's Saturday!

It must be. It's kinda hard to tell sometimes. I'm sure it is though.

Finally stopped getting my days confused.

Role call for chips at Southend. Probably leaving Norwich about 1130am.

So, who wants to come and play at bikes?

I was all up for this but in my never ending quest for attention, I broke my arm on Saturday night while on my Ireland bike tour! :dunce: So, Beelzebub will be laid up until Chappers collects him. I'm out for 6 weeks so it looks like the weekender might be a no go too as I don't have a car. I'll see how it is in a couple of weeks, might be OK to ride by then. In the mean time, enjoy the weather and somebody please eat some whelks and jellied eels for me? :D

Oh no!!!

I'm really sorry to hear that. How did you do it? In spectacular stylee I hope.

Alcohol, dancing and bar stool! They shouldn't all be combined at the same time or in the same place!!

Travolta would have been proud of the 10 seconds of dancing I managed before the stool got bored and left!

Need I say more? :drunk: :dunce:

Yeah I just read about it on your other thread. I am really sorry but I did laugh out loud..I'm slightly ashamed of myself for doing that but I am in awe. If you're gonna do it then do it in a JT stylee.

i mean my day off changes week to week, i work most saturdays, some sundays (not often) and get a day of my chosing in the week. So have a nice day out saturday and i'll do the same on my day off, sadly when nobody else can play.

Aha - I thought you meant the weekender was off for you for some awful moment!!!

Work sucks generally doesn't it - I'm back to work tomorrow after a lovely week and a half off from the usual monotony and what a treat it's been - bet the bloomin weather now turns gorgeous and pours down at the weekend!!!

Nae Lass, I've booked perfect sunshine for Saturday. So far, 16 degrees and shiny at Southend. I'm still working on it being dry for Aldeburgh on the Sunday but I have faith. Failing that, I have waterproofs.

Um.......we need to leave a little earlier. It's further than I thought and there's a new bike being run in.

So, leaving Veloces at 1100am.

I'm still not expecting anybody but I'll be there anyhow.
