Just been into LIDL's. Firstly I want to make it clear I don't normally shop here but a mate emailed me to let me know about a bike stuff sale theve got on. Details here

I just bought the maps and my missus bought a balaclava. The maps are good, write on wipe of with interesting bike related points of interest.

wouldnt mind some wind proof socks.. oh and a balaclava for a hidden exit. he he.

I must admit, I did feel a bit out of place. I'm going to go back again for more stuff. Can anyone lend me a Burberry cap, and the wife needs a pink fleecey leisure suit.

But "Spend a little live a lot" and no I don't work there just so the weekly shop there :D

Last time lidls had this offer i bought loads of the stuff they had left at the end of the offer



Made a good proffit selling them on on Ebay 3 weeks before Xmas :drunk: :drunk: hehehehehe

Now't wrong wi' Lidl! Their chocolate is particularly good - f'rinstance, they sell a 100g bar of 75% dark chocolate for 49p, as good as lindt which is twice the price. Mozzarella cheese is 49p! Brilliant! They also sell a decent 12 yr old single malt for £12.99, try it!

Trashy looking motorcycle ankle boots are absolutely fine for 12.99 - but don't be fooled - Their size 7 fits my size 9s

Note - Erwins Lager is cheap, practically alcohol free but tastes like lager and bile combined....

I took my dad to Lidl last night and he went wild. He bought the jacket, trousers and gloves. All seem like very good quality gear to me, put together as well as kit costing twice as much. I bought some maps. They'd sold out of the helmets though.

Did the weekly chocolate shopping too. We used to live on Lidl "Lager" lager at university. Seemed allright at the time, but then desperate times and all that...
