Monster Weekender....Go-Karting.

Hi all.


Just to let you know that we'll be going go-karting on Saturday 29th April. We need a minimum of 25 people to put their names down in advance so that we can make sure we've got exclusive use of the track.

If you want to join in it'll cost £30.....not bad at all for a fun afternoon!

There is a great track in Preston, a few of us went last year, it is outdoors and it is great fun tonudge someone onto the grass, you just spin, there is also a great mini moto track in Colne and two purpose built ones to be completed shortly in Blackburn, one track and one indoor dirt track, should be fun.

I bet we could get a fair few, we had a great time with six last year, there was only us on the track, it started out civilised and ended up trying to bribe the staff to twiddle with stuff to make the things faster, we ended up racing the staff later in the day, great day out. Trax that by the way

Agreed - although why not make a weekend of it and stay over at the Travel Lodge up the road from the Mill? There are quite a few members doing that for the Saturday, and you are welcome to join in the hog roast (stop giggling at the back) at the Mill on Saturday evening for £15 a head - then you're already there for the National Rideout on the Sunday too of course!

If anyone wants to come down for the Karting on the day, it starts at 1pm on Saturday 29th April - I'll be posting up the address details in the Go-Kart thread closer to the time, but basically it's just off the M40 near Leamington Spa.
