Header pipes

Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get new header pipes (or ones without any rot!) for a '97 M600?

They shouldn't rot, they're stainless steel - albeit a low grade. If they're brown then they will polish back to shiney with some effort or post em off to a polisher!!

Hmm. Using a specialist metal polish like Brasso or the like? Will do that - thanks for the info.

You might struggle with Brasso, it's not abrasive enough.

I used a wire brush in a drill to scrub the snot off then a series of polishing mops together with Wet&Dry to get em shiney. It's a lot of work - took me about 40 hours!! You could always send them to a polisher
