No, but I've got a brand new S2R800 on order :) (I couldn't manage the clutch on the 1000:hissy: )

i don't get it -- is the clutch on the 1000 really that heavy or is this a joke in with which i am not?

I tried the clutch on the new S2R 1000, just in the showroom - not on the road, and I think it would be too heavy for me to use about town or in heavy traffic - bearing in mind that I have small, weak hands and I am right-handed.

I haven't ridden a monster with a dry clutch so I have nothing to compare it to, but it is significantly heavier than the clutch on my old 620 or new S2R. I asked about any possible changes to make it lighter, but there were no ducati-recommended ones.
As I will probably never need the extra power of a 1000cc bike, it was not worth me struggling with a heavier clutch.

I Will be the proud owner of a new S2r 1000 in red and white at the end of the month. The clutch on the 1000 didnt feel any different to the clutch on my 2001 600 Other than the lever being adjustable for reach on the 1000.

Clutch on my M1000ie seems much the same as the M600 I used to ride. The lever is adjustable for short reach, so no problem if you got short fingers!

Took out the S2R1000 a couple of weeks ago on a test ride, yes if doing lots of town work can see it could be a pain, but I try not to stop.

Picking up my S2R1000 on Sat, so will have a long time to get used to it soon.
