Bit of a strange request I know, but I have lost the rear air vent on my helmet (no jokes please :ymca: ). I tried to buy a replacement but they changed the design to this awful Star Trek Vulcan spaceship design. Any help guys?

I'm sure I read a post about Arai vents fitting the Roof helmets. I would call in at an Arai service center, They give details of these on the website, or at least give them a call.

Errrr !!!

I had the same problem. It is a frequent occurrence. The new ones are better than original and in my opinion look better than the originals.
In the past I have had to replace the originals several times.

However when last replacing my vents my local dealer, Mission Motorcycles in Bletchley had a choice of original or upgraded vents at £2.50 each.

Hope this helps

£2.50 cough cough - the replacement kit of the new style (both vents) I got cost about £18 !!! That was from an internet place as I couldn't find anywhere local that sold ROOFs.

Just so you know what I'm talking, vent is in this pic off ebay in the top right of the photo. Kinda weird as they screw on where as I think most vents are glued.

still a damn fine lid, i have the diversion, am i right in thinking the old one (in the pic) is the one with the little slider for open and closed. I seem to remember stug's helmet pic had a clear one, possibly without the moving part? Any chance of a pic stu, just in case i need to do it some time, either for need or style :D

Yep, they're the ones. I'm sure Mission Motorcycles would do p&p. If not try On yer bike at Aylesbury as I have bought them from there before to.

I do have a spare one but I have offered it to another memner on the site but if they dont want it I'll let you know.

Anyway the pic shows the new type on my Roof
