Hey all,

Thought that it was time for an update :woot:

Okay so as you know I hacked the back of my S2R off a couple of weeks ago......well I still wasn't happy with a few things, firstly the front indicators looked naff with the standard ones, I had some baby carbon ish ones, I'm fairly pleased with the results but it's still not perfect....but then what is? :look:

Next.....and this is the good one ;-) I had seen other Dukes with clear Cam Covers, but I dont like to buy off the shelf, so......out came Mr Dremmel again:devil: and more Absolute Vodka....lol things seem so much more clear with half a bottle of that inside you lol.

So here is the result of my custom, from scratch window mod :yoparty:

And here is the overall picture....

So like I say all in all very pleased with the results....YAY!!!!

What do you think?

As one who has clear covers on mine you get a big thumbs up from me:thumbsup:
I think I'd be inclined to put the perspex sheet on the inside of the cover though,as long as theres no clearance issues.

Are you sans indicators at the rear?

As a fan of alcohol fueled **** a snoot at the shops DIY carve ups then well done, I once had red covers but it did look a bit wrong, however against a matching frame and with the covers it looks very nice. keep the perspex on the outside, easier to access and clean. On the inside you would get bits of crepe stuck in the gap.

Not at all they're built into the light unit.

Nice design, from SparesShack, see below:
