Looking for a carbon front mudguard to fit a '96 M750.

Are all the pre-2000 mudguards the same fit?

Saw that one and have emailed seller to ask a couple of questions - what year bike will it fit (I think the mudguards changed from 2000 on). And there looks to be a mark right in the middle that's not in the description, but it might just be the photo.
