Well, time has come for the 'ol monnie to go :(

I've owned her from new, my 1st bike actually, and she's been pretty well looked after and has been serviced regularly (all the stamps in the service book are present etc). She's never been pranged, dropped or otherwise damaged. She's fitted with a K&N airfilter (with part open airbox) and Carbon exhaust cans. These are loud but she passed the previous MOT fine with them on as they have no 'not for road use' stamps on them. They have Termi stickers on them but I know they're aren't, not sure which make though :D. The ECU was set up with the cans and filter in mind at a previous service (by Superlight3) so she runs a treat. The standard exhaust are included as well, these are basically unmarked but were used for about the first 4-5k miles.

The belts have only recently been done at the 12k service, and since then she's had very little use, with about 12,700 on the clock.

The brakes have been upgraded from the normal single disc with a brake setup from an Aprilia RSV Mille ('98 bike), and uses the aluminium disc carriers rather than the standard steel ones, so none of the bikes lightness is lost in the process. These are also black and go perfectly with the look of the bike. The front brake master cylinder is from a Ducati 996 as the standard one is too small to power 2 discs properely.

The chain and sprockets were replaced just before the 12k service, using a Tsubaki Gold X-Ring chain and Renthal Sprockets front and rear. The clutch plates were also replaced at the same time.

Both tyres were replaced a little over 2k miles ago with Bridgestone BT020's. These tyres really suit the bike and give brilliant grip and feedback on both wet and dry roads and are far superior to the standard Dunlops previously fitted.

The bike is also fitted with a Monza Bellypan (not shown in the pictures as I removed it to clean the bike properely) that is also in the Satin Black of the Dark. There is also a Scotoiler system fitted, it's easily accessable for adjustment and is hidden behind one of the side panels. It also has Ducati Performance tear drop mirrors fitted.

In addition to the bikes electronic keycoded immobiliser thingy the bike is fitted with the Datatag system, with the microdots all over the bike, transducers in the frame, tank and seat, and serial numbers etched onto the larger panels. I have all the paper work for this so it can be transfered across no problem.

The Mot expires in August '06 and the tax is valid until the end of Feb '06.

I have all the receipts and bills for the bike, and all the original paperwork and manuals are in a large red wallet for safekeeping. I've also got all the keys including the all important Master key. The bike has also been garaged and bike covered most of its life.

Downsides? The clutch cover has been resprayed due paint flaking, the silver isn't a perfect match but it's a good job, the casing was sand-blasted back to bare metal before painting so should last longer than the factory paint! She's also done 2 track days, I'm no Barry Sheene but there aren't any chicken strips left. The belts and last service were done AFTER the last track day!!

In all honesty I just don't use her. I have a little CB125TDE for commuting (when it works) and need the money to fund my re-education (as a career change and not a "back into society" thing!) so I'm only asking...
