Are these the only things different about the 600 and 750 engines... the barrels, piston and cyl head? Or is the crank, conrod etc different sizes?

Bore and stroke for the 600 is quoted as 80 x 58mm, compared to 88 x 61.mm suggesting the 750 uses longer rods or longer throw crank. Looks like you'll end up with a capacity slightly under 748cc, but not sure what overall effect it has on compression ratio.

No idea if the gudgeon pin size is the same for both, or if the 750 barrels drop straight onto a 600 crank case. The other option is the 675cc barrel piston kit for the 600, which should drop straight in provided it's the right model.

Yup agreed the stroke is probably different, would explain the belts being different sizes. Depends if I can get the bore kit for the right price.

750 uses a different crank.

If you're thinking of fitting a 750 set of barrels and pistons to a 600 have a look here

Good point... I'll get my coat :o

On second thoughts - just lob a 900 engine in and you're sorted :D

has anyone put a triple 8 into a monster? or built a monster around one? I think this makes sense...

Someone has and it looks pretty good too. Lot of work though sorting plumbing, fuel injection, loom etc...
