As my winter project is taking some form of shape.......engine will be out tomorrow,frame to the powdercoaters at the weekend,swinger down to the polishers........am getting all the other bits ready,hit upon a prob,ive got a 996 forks to go on........am goner run clip-ons,same as the 748/916/996 series bikes,but i need to know what kinda triple clamps i need to get.......dont want to shim the orginal clamps,want something nice and trick which will work with the monster steering tube and the diameter of the 996 forks,can any of u loverly ppl help me.....Thanks Simon oh Happy xmas :burnout:

You have a set of 996 forks? the question to ask is will the 996 yoke fit the m900 steering column. Is there any reason why you don't want to shim/bore the 900 clamp? You might like to email this fellow: http://www.motomaxy.com/ he is a friendly chap- although American... so if u is gunna spk like that he am aint gunna unnerstand u probly.

That looks very much like a CycleCat top yoke - Stu at Spareshack should be able to help.
