er, still rummaging, but so far found a size 40, er, loads of yellow and black ones too, couple of silver ones with mostly black sizes 40 - 48 one girlie one in size 10 black and red. oh cripes there's so much here i need to have time to go thru it properly am putting on the t shirts in stock at moment, so much to do.

there are termi's fan belts service kits, millions of leather jackets, stuff i'd never seen before, textile jackets and pants, rain suits, funny looking jackets, some suits are even 300 quid supposed to be 1081 or something? crazy... they must have bought so much stock, shame really...

we've got ducati model lorries and bikes and their mascots oh cripes..
and yes scrumpster, you can come after the event, they'll still be here i'm sure..

millions of alpine stars boots and trainers too.. :)

40-46? Is this the Euro size because that's titchy size (even for me). I assume thats the UK size so converted to 50-56 inside the suits?

Thanks (also looking for a reddish one piece in 48/50 Euro)

CK- we're open to 8.30, you ca't come, friday after wards during the day if you're not at work will be ok, if you can't make it, prices still the same... :)

and yes it's the euro size,

yes there are lots and lots of pipes, and other bits, rearsets i'm sure

CK & AK

Mel - are you really sure on the sizing being Euro??

They must be ever so tiny, cos even 9 stone AK is 46 - 48 euro
and Paul is looking for 1 piece 53 Euro size (that size in Alpine Stars fits him)

Euro size 46 is the rough equivalent to a snug ladies size 12

Melnie Mouse
03-12-2005, 07:39 AM
sorry hun, the 44 chest size as you say if 54 in these out fits... and yeah 46 is a 12 a snug one as you say.... i have a 46 girls suit here black with red ducati down one side, like Loz's one if you've seen him... 2pc

loads of black dainese trousers some with red ducati on it.. sizes 48 - 58 i believe, so 30 ish to 38 waist???? oh it's confusing

Not sure about buying a Vemar, my yellow helmet is a Suomy with Ducati on the forehead (and I have an odd shaped head) so I was really looking for a Suomy but in red. I would really need to try one on - but I'm too far away. :(

Mando - that Vemar/Ducati is visually very very similar to your Suomy/Ducati one you got last year - infact some helmet nerdo might be able to say if they are the same shell or not (like some Bieffe and Momo for example)... I saw the Vemar ones at DLS earlier this year, and was very taken with them - but I know what you mean - unless it is exactly the same shape, it is a bit of risk buying on spec.

xxx

ps. If Mel was prepared to let me take it on SOR (or just a loan over the weekend) for you to try, I could do that?

yeah i hope you do empty me out, it's taken a lot of energy just answering phone calls and keep running downstairs to check what we have.

The vemar helmets are quite a good fit, they come the size they should be, i guess you can sell on ebay if it doesn't fit. we do have lots of suomy ducati ones, but if you wanted plain red, they're in vemar... maybe you can see the lovely grey/blk/red graphic one, £130. :)

Sorry guys, anything else wouldn't be a problem, but a helmet is a safety item, so cannot allow it to leave shop and come back, that's the rule with any helmet I'm afraid, so i've been asking people who are buying for xmas presents to bring child in and i can measure and fit, or it's a bit of expense to waste otherwise...

I can't make it this evening so could I order this by mail order. I want the red one with the italian stripe down the centre. I think it's got a checked pattern on the back? My normal size id ML in AGV but having checked some helmet sizing charts, I think I'd be better off with a L in the Ducati version - I assume it's made by Suomy. Could you let me know what the postage costs will be and I'll phone through my payment details.

No haven't any of those, I believe there 06 models, and if they are and are about £10 or so, they're not actually as nice in real life. Pictures look great, but like some of their new stuff which will be more affordable only a handful of new stuff looks good quality. Their other bags are great and affordable though, we have some coming soon.

Big thank you to Mel and Richard and Co for staying open so late tonight - and you were right - there is masses of stock!

Lots of leather jackets for around £100, and helmets from just £50! - those Vemars are very nice Mand, but more like my Bieffe (that's probably why I liked them when I saw them in DLS) rather than your Suomi - they had a multi coloured red/yellow/silver Suoni version like yours in M, but only L and XL in plain red... hey ho...

Worth looking in if anyone is in the market for some winter gear too - some very nice (tastful, understated) black cordura gear with subtile Ducati branding...

And they hadn't even started unpacking the spares and accessories boxes!
