I now have a gold clutch master to match the gold brake one,so far all going to plan.
The brake set up is of the newer kind with a bleed nipple on the cylinder and the smaller pivot bolt on the lever, whereas the clutch is the older version with the larger diameter lever pivot.
I also have an older brake cylinder to match the clutch but am now wondering whether it matters at all or if I'll find trouble matching new levers with different pivots.
I dont think there is any technical difference between them just the obvious external ones.
Should I keep the older pattern set up?
Should I mix and match?,and not worry.
Should I try and source a newer pattern clutch cylinder?
Life would have been so much easier if Ducati had fitted standard brakes to the S2R in the first place.
