Yeh Alex you're right...this is bolt on heaven at the moment :D What's particularly sad about it all is that I still don't have my bloody bike back yet!!! I'm beginning to think it was all a figment of my imagination.

To keep the dream alive though, I've narrowed my mirror choice down to three. Forgive the poor photoshop skills...any opinions greatly appreciated.

Erm...I'm deliberately looking for your first impressions from a distance. I think there's a great danger in looking at things too closely! Ha ha, OK so my photoshop skills are p*sh ;)

I did have one like number 1 but now have number 3, looks good, goes with the minimal approach and works well, motrax 30 quid I think. low mounted one looks quite splendid, 2 mounted high looks wrong (IMzzzzzzzzO)

tried motrax mirrors, useless view of whats behind................ too much appearance over function, could be anything behind from 18 wheeler to police van and you cant tell the difference unless looking quite hard, then thud as you ram someone.

i had the circuit 851 (nb2)
they took some getting used to. I left them on the bike when i sold it, which i almost regret, because i cannot find some that look as good.
here: (2nd bike on third pic)

You know I can see me splashing out on the bar-ends and the Circuits. I wasn't too sure about them until I saw your photos...

I can spot the plod in mine. That's what they are there for....everything else is dust beneath my heels apart from bigger boys on proper motorbikes. Besides mirrors are only really for confirmation and motorways, at other times it's over the shoulder....it is not all about having a good hard look, that is a bit stupid/dangerous IMO.

i'd get the circuit, a rucksac and swap the mickey mouse mirrors only when stationary. at any other time, when parked, bolt the rizoma's on.

as i said, they take some getting use to, and for the sake of safety, and coz now i am a big boy on my 900 who can actually go on the motorway, i chose to part with them. around traffic, on a 600, they are just manageable.

they look okay I just find them a little too angular and modern for a monster? if I ever get a vmax though..

I like option # 2.
I have the Motrax ones and think it makes the bike to wide over the handlebars. Hence I have a new pair just waiting to go on. :D

indeed they do, I just stuck one on the left upside down, to get the angle right you need to swap the stem left to right..oh and being motrax the glass will need a bit of silicone.

Hmm...neat solution. Probably the best mounting of these mirrors I've seen. However you Sir have clip ons, while I still have bars. Width might be the same (or at least I'm told so), but bars look wider IMO.

The glass issue I've all ready learnt...the hard way of course. Bless them for sending free replacement though.

I have option 3 on mine The Motrax, I only have the right hand one on as 2 looked just weird. I find it fine gives great visability, As i only have the 1 mirror i tend to do more life savers which is no bad thing at all.
