Got rid of the cat on S2R but felt it wasn't performing as well as before. Thought the change in exhaust note maybe just making me imagine this so had the bike re-set up on the computer, goes like stink now, much more perky and responsive than ever, well pleased.

Cost of pipe was £200 from spareshack, easy to fit. As soon as poss. P&H in Crawley is prob nearest to you they are Ducati dealers, If you have'nt had you 600 service yet they would check it then if you asked.

Do you mean using the Ducati diagnostic tool? In which case then CMW in Chi is the closest. Failing that, Snells in Alton are a fine bunch of fellows.

Snell's did a good job on mine after the cat came off. They got someone from Ducati UK in to have a look at it. Took them awhile but they only charged 1hours labour. Top place to take your bike.

Got mine done today. That spareshack pipe is a bit of a bugger to fit though when you are as inept as I am. Got there in the end though. I reused the original seals which I don't think has helped. Both header pipes were blowing at the joints initially but after taking it for a run, one has sealed ok and the other is almost there. I'll see how it goes. If it doesn't seal properly I'll fit new seals.
I also stuck some termis on the end. I took it for a run and am well impressed. The sound is gorgeous and there does seem to be an improvement in performance although that might just be in my head. I haven't got round to getting a power commander yet so have not fitted the high flow air filter. I am itching to get the job finished to see what the end result it like.
Just getting rid of the cat makes the bike look so much sleeker. I can recommend getting rid of it.
If Perry is reading this - Thanks for selling me the pipes and cans. I am very happy.
