new battery for 2000 M750

I wonder if anyone has tried fitting one of the fully sealed batteries as a replacement for the standard YB16AL-A2.

I haven't found one with exactly the same dimensions; the depth appears to be the problem; the standard is approx 70 mm, the sealed ones 75 - 77 mm.

Has anyone found a source of a sealed battery the right size, or successfully fitted one a bit deeper (i.e. front to back).

I fitted a new sealed one to my 900special last year, no probs - just needed to turn it round :)
