Just been looking at the American Monster Owners Site. Someone on their forum has suggested having a sticky with tyre reviews. As I'm about to buy a new set of tyres I thought this might be a good idea ;)
I guess it's something we could keep coming back to, editing our posts as the miles pile up, as we encounter different road conditions etc...
What do you think?

Searches are sooooo last year...live for moment! Who knows what could of happened between then and now?
On the other hand, yes sorry...I really should try and get in to this whole searching previous posts thing :D
Reading such things as 'previous posts' I've been thought that Pirelli Diablos are what makes you the cool guy. Opinions differ however. But having it as my rear tyre I can't complain.

Still think it would be a good idea to keep a sticky though. It's a question that's always going to come along. This way we can just update our posts with milage reports etc...keep it all in the one place :)

I realy rate Metzeller Sportstec M1's personally. Same as Pirellis but often found a bit cheaper. Reasonable wear rate, good grip wet or dry, cold or hot, and handle nicely. IMO

if your looking for a tyre that will give you good grip and long life i've got dunlop D207RR's on my s4 cromo which is what was fitted from the factory, they give fantastic grip in both wet and dry and as for long life i've just changed my back tyre (due to a puncture ) after 5780 miles of hard commuting on motorways
reckon i would have got over 6000 miles before hitting the wear markers, pretty good for a race replica tyre i'll be sticking with these till they run out
