Does anyone know if it's possible to get the frames that the footpegs hang off, in stainless steel? [For a '98 M750]

I'm looking to replace mine as their quite badly corroded. So far I've found a Titanium set...a bargain at £2200! Or simply replacing them with new stock replacements at £70 each side.

Actually while we're on the subject. I've also been hunting around looking at cluch covers. Found lots of nice ones for dry clutches, but haven't managed to find anything that stands out that would be suitable for my bike. Anybody know of any?

Cheers everyone.

possibly re-paint or polish up the hangers
and the clucth , errm
repaint or polish again a differetn cover ? forget it, unless it is possible to do a dry clucth conversion ?

Hi mate

Both Cyclecat and DP do nice billet blingy things (the cyclecat ones are very nice - a few lads on here have got them) - stu @ spareshack should be able to help.

Youll struggle on the clutch side of things im afraid..

Cheers

As scotty suggested, polish or paint, a powdercoat is best as boots seem to rub paint off. the flash things are called rearsets new 300 quid upwards, if you are happy with the shape I would get them powdercoated or polished. did yours come with high pipes? if you dont take pillions you could always grind that bit off.

Hmmmm, interesting construction. You see the titanium business is very incestuous and produces very few products for very few people.........Ti is usually only available in sheet and tube...and as you can see the majority of these hangers are made made from these....but the pegs are interesting......probably an alternative alloy? Anybody ever seen any of these?

Just get them polished.
I can recommend a company to do them.
They are in Devon but it will be cheaper getting them polished than getting new ones.

Much loved indeed. But it looks as if it has a dry clutch and I can't remember any 600's having dry clutches. But I might of course be wrong... :o

Come on...plenty of people here should be able to tell me, please do.

Thanks for settling that. No I can sleep with a bit less anxeity. Didn't know the casings are interchangable. Looks sweet as sugar and is naturally not meant to ridden on salty winter roads.

the casing aren't but the belt covers often are, watch out thoug as early ones have different outlines so often leave holes and gaps against the engine perfect for letting stones in and destroying your engine in a jiffy.

we know a song about that doen't we children..
