as requested ;)

the led cluster (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=12696&doy=30m10D) is the bulk of the price at £10 each

and they need a resistor to stop em burning out

to be MOT correct the stop lights must be brighter than the tail light (apparently) so in my bodge it half calculated way the resistors ive used are 18 ohm and 180 ohm 7 watt resistors also from maplins but i think they might have discontinued em

for a mounting bracket i got r kid brother t cut one for us (currently only works with a tail chop ) i have a dxf of the mounting holes to save a little time

if thers 'enough' interest (like over 9 orders for a bulk purchace from maplins) i could be presuaded to knock a few universal units up

few notes on the pictures the lit up one is slightly brighter than with the resistors in place (you do need the resistors or they will burn out)
the mounted to bike one ignore the extra indicators under the cowl

I like that.
That may give me a solution to my indicator problem.
I'm fitting an MV Agusta tail to my Monnie and had been scratchin my head over indicators. Think you may have helped me find a solution.
Thanks
Stuart

Scotty,

If they could be made to fit the standard mounting place without a tail chop then i am one of your orders!! After seeing the bike in the flesh it does look sweet.

Noo not another, i hope you're cutting it down first as they don't look right as standard. Far too long and a little too wide, but that just my opinion

It hasnt actually arrived yet Dave so dont know. It is specifically designed to fit a Monster so unsure if dimensions are to suit or original MV.

probably has the right fittings for a Monster, just screwed into a standard MV tail, maybe a slight change of fit round the tank. If I had to redo my tail again (god no not again - never) i'd get an MV unit, chop it at its widest point and cut 3 inches out and another 3 inches from the seat. The chop i down the middle and slim it by 3 or 4 inches. Mini MV style, keep the lines but in a monster seat and cowl size unit. Would have to get it moulded and cast a new one piece glass fibre bit made from it.
Was actually going to do that but couldn't get hold of a crash damaged tail bit when i was doing my chop years ago so gave up on the ide, but feel free to use the plan ;)

I'll let you know whats its like once I get it, and post some pics. It only cost 80 euros (off e bay, sorry to swear) so thought it was worth a punt even if I then need to modify. Owning a Monsters like the Forth Bridge, no sooner is it finished then you find something else to do.
This winter got MV tail, custom paint on the tail and my roof helmet to match tank. (and poss some other bits like belly pan, hugger, front guard, side panels, etc)
A carbon fibre front sprocket
Anodised frame bungs
2-1 exhaust system (under seat if I can do it)
Private(ish) no plate
I'm sure there is more but its gettin late. Besides its only October. I'm sure I'll think of lots more before next spring.
