You could try dropping a PM to Benson and MilesB, who are the only other two I know riding them.

Oi! what about me Slob? Thought the 900ie at the bottom of the avatar might be a hint?

Pooh - give Ducati UK a bell and quote the chassis number. My guess is you didnt get a letter because either it doesn't need the work done, or it's already been done.

Hi Crust
Have had a look and it appears that all models are covered by the recall between jan 2001 and dec 2001 so my bike should be due a new slave cylinder as it has been leaking and have just got round to changing the seal only to find the bore worn.

there were two. One was for a fuel hose and the other one was a clutch component (ducati's words not mine). Havent had the work done yet, in fact i only got the call from the dealer last week saying the parts have arrived.

I know that Rachel got the recall and the work done, but I have not been notified. Checking out the VOSA site, I suspect it is because I got my bike in Sept 2002 (one of the last of the 900ie's  ) and so may have been built after the recall date - which appears to be bike BUILT in 2001.

Concerned :(

Miles
if your clutch slave cylinder is the type which appears to be made in two parts with a centre cover that looks like the inside of a socket then you need to have it checked if the slave cylinder is the same colour as the rest of the engine dont worry you have not got a problem. The recall was global and did not effect my 900ie so just check.
