I actually bought these cans to replace the Remus Grand Prix Stainless Steel exhausts that I have on my Monster 620.
I bought them purely for the carbon look rather than any sound or performance but if they don't sound as good as the Remus then they're back on ebay. Like Jim said, at that price I'd be mad not to!
I bought the Remus from a chap who sold them for the Monster 600 but they fit with no trouble at all. You just unbolt the exhaust from it's hanger, undo the clasp around the slip on and switch the exhaust. It really is that easy, just a 30 minute job.
I'll let you know how they sound but the fact that they cost so much in the states bodes well!

In 2005 I wouldn't worry about the MOT - my monkey says it's all down to personal opinion - in other words, you're going to pass. Next year might be different. Likewise for our friends in blue - they have many many other things to be fixating on, like arrresting hoody wearers. Go for it, if it all goes wrong, you can always put it on E-bay USA.

I have fitted the cans with a bit of a modification on the hanging strap and can honestly say that they have made a huge difference.
The power is up and the throttle response is keener. And then there is the noise.
Compared to the Remus Grand Prix S/S they replaced, it's a slightly deeper, more pronounced growl. Then when you open up, it's loud, really loud.
It doesn't make my ears bleed but my god it assaults your eardrums with sweet Desmodronics!!!
Anybody want to buy some Remus!!!
