I have just bought a ducati corse CF clutch cover (half cover, really)
but, either it is too shallow, or my clutch is too deep !
the cover touches the clutch components. I have put 3 washers between the engine and the cover, for spacers, but it is sill touching.. is that normal ?
should i just keep on putting washers until i clear the clutch ?

I would get some spacers instead. but the principle is the same.

i am at almost 4mm of "spacer" thickness already, and i am still mashing carbon with the clutch.

where did you buy it from? 4mm is not much for a clutch that is open. Natty boy, Pedals or sparesbloke or Terry or well, loads of people can give you the lowdown. I am sure it is fine. There, don't you feel better already?!

sort off..
A bit of a funny thing those open clutches.
bit of a mad panic to get the bike ready for thursday. i think i will just have to cancel the MOT though, with that new coil problem.
Got the cover off fleabay for not a lot of money !
