Hi All

Looking for your (useful) suggestions regarding a tank protector for the S4R...

Don't know what to do cos' of the tarty white stripes running down the tank. Does a protector covering up the stripe look stoooopid???

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

I guess someone must do a clear one, I am sure I have seen one advertised but where beats me...

Try http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/29/2079
They do a clear one.

Never thought of a clear protector.... mind blinkered to carbon fibre.

Just picked an Oxford clear one up from eBay - bargain at £3.80 delivered :D

Don't let this stop the thread any more ideas out there...

Get yourself into Hein Gericke, they sell A4 sheets of tough clear vinyl. I've made clear protectors for tank, top of seat cowl where I always hit my knee sliders and also for the leading edge of the belly ban where it takes a battering. They work like a charm, and are easy to replace. Discovered after some errors, best way was to make up a paper template and then transfer it across to the vinyl.
