cut it off - I have just done my S4r and fitted a 'short tail' from desmoworld. It only needs 85 mm's cutting from the frame, so somehow I didn't feel so bad doing it !? :eek:

I'm in the process of doing mine. I've just made a mock up out of cardboard to hold the light and mini indicators. Next i'll model it on a CAD system at work then i'll use a machine called a wire edm laser cutting tool and lastly i'll fabricate it.Titanium of course. I'll get some pictures on here when i'm done.I might be able to make a few sets so if anyones interested?

I am debating what to do with my rear over the winter. I like the look of those ebay carbon tails, but not 100% sure. Definately dont like the bug eyed look. I cant understand German - so I cant get anything off the desmoworld site (Care to point me in the right direction anyone?)

I want to do a tail chop, but I am truly shocking at making stuff out of metal, and even worse at fitting stuff.
I blame my I.T. background. Too much time staring at naked bums 12 inches from my face. Cant see past that very clearly.

But yeah, it would make my day if someone said, "Here's a kit for your S4 mate, and here's how to fit the bugger!"

Jasper, give me a shout and I could be interested depending on the price. I've a hacksaw in the corner but can't help thinking that when I come to upgrade from my meagre 620 people would prefer a standard bike. I know my Wiley cans would scare them off!

If you want a carbon 'DP' style copy tail like mine then contact Graham at www.felphambikes.com and tell him nat sent you ;)

Alternativley if you want to be different ive got some ducati performance fabricated ally tails that will make the bike look much shorter..They are £113 new but yours for £35..let me have your e-mail if youd like some pics..

Devilboy - at the minute I only have one which I can't reduce below 100kb to get on the site , never was very good with these confuser things. The mrs is o/seas with the camera so can't get any more for a week or so.But it is the short tail kit from desmoworld.
The guy there is Chris - real helpful and speaks better English than my German.
