tyre condition

Can anyone tell me if this tyre will pass an MOT ?
the thread is fine, but the chicken stripes have been skinned...
I genuinely have no idea if this is an MOT failure.

Looks alright to me Stef, if your not sure why not sling the wheel in the car and next time your passing the MOT station, ask 'em.
