Hiya all
I have just noticed that my seat lifts up very easily at the front.
The only thing holding it on is the lock at the back.
It looks like it should slide into a mount under the seat, but ive tried for ages, and it seems to be too low down to fit!
Has anyone else got this problem at all?
Cheers

yeah its like that
just remember to take the seat off before lifting the tank or you al only make it worse
(i imagine) , fortunatly for me all the slow and carefull law abideing cruseing i do means my arse holds it down

But... Ive looked at an S4 in my local bike shop, and the seat was firmly planted down.
To me, it looks like the hook things should go under the bracket, not rest on top.
Ah well, my bum dont leave the seat too often, so I should be ok...

The hooks should definetly go UNDER the bracket.
Bry...

So I would have thought.
But there is no way they are going to fit.
Wieh they are close, the front of the seat doesnt sit in the grooves on the tank, its much lower!
And I havent been able to push it down hard enough to get it in.
Ill check see if anything is obstructing it tonight...
Could be the tool kit thing.

You can bend the front seat mounts either up or down so as to make a better fit.

It was the tool kit thing...
I pushed the tool kit into its hole a bit tighter, and hey presto, a fitting seat!
Another problem solved. Next!
